If I used a shorter EA mesh the cc hair won't show up in S4S. This way worked and it showed up for toddler and original age group in game but the cc hair took on EA's textures and colors if I used a longer EA mesh. Then save package to my game.Īnother way I tried involved using an EA toddler mesh to begin, and just exporting both meshes to blender (once I changed the age group and applied to all swatches of the CC one), appending them from library in blender, delete EA toddler mesh, resize the hair, then import back into S4S. This way I basically just changed the age group in S4S to toddler, applied to all swatches, closed, then re-opened, export the mesh to blender, resize to fit toddler, save, then import back to S4S. Tag jaocc for me to see your sims with my cc. Other times the hair won't show up at all even though I have the original mesh in game. One tutorial I saw was for clay hair and when I use this method it sometimes works and the hair will show up in game but it will no longer show up for its original age group. Can anyone provide or point me in the direction of a complete step by step tutorial on how to convert alpha hairs to toddler? I've searched through that section/googled and saw a few that I followed but I still can't get it.
